Six hospitalized, two with serious injuries after large vehicle crash in Roseville

Six people were hospitalized, at least two of them with serious injuries, after a vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Roseville, authorities said.

Police and fire personnel responded to a “major traffic accident” in the area of Sunrise Avenue and Coloma Way, the Roseville Police Department said in social media posts just after 4 p.m.

“Six individuals were transported to area hospitals with two in critical condition,” police wrote.

Roadways were closed for several hours, reopening just before midnight, the Police Department said.

No other details were immediately available, including how many vehicles were involved.
