Green Acres preparing to move to new Roseville location. Here’s what’s in store next week

Green Acres Nursery and Supply is preparing to move to its new location in Roseville next week.

The popular Sacramento-area business will leave its current location at 901 Galleria Blvd. for a larger space at 7300 Galilee Road, which is a little over 3 miles from its current location.

It purchased the new location from the city of Roseville in 2020.

“Moving our Roseville nursery is bittersweet,” the business said to customers on its website. “ While we are sad to leave such a special place, we are very excited to be able to offer a greater experience to our customers.”

The current location is where Green Acres originally opened its doors in 2003 and from there has grown into seven locations throughout the Sacramento region.

The new space on Galilee Road is 7.7 acres, giving Green Acres more room for greenhouses for houseplants, annuals and perennials, larger indoor and outdoor spaces, an outdoor living department offering patio furniture, and significantly more parking.

The current location will remain open until the day of the move. The new location opens Thursday, Nov. 17.
