Arson suspect detained in Roseville after sprinkler signals ’small fire’

A person was detained in Roseville Wednesday morning on suspicion of starting a fire, Roseville Police Department said.
Police responded to the 700 block of Gibson Drive after a sprinkler system was activated. Police said in a social media post that a "small fire was intentionally set."
Officers arrived at the scene and detained a suspect.
"At this time, no injuries have been reported and it’s unknown why the suspect started the fire," police said.
