A vehicle crashed through a garage door and into the kitchen of a Roseville home on Friday afternoon, according to the Roseville Fire Department.

The residents were home at the time of the crash but luckily were not injured, according to the Fire Department’s social media post. The driver, who was believed to have had a medical emergency prior to the accident, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Roseville Fire Department said the house had significant damage from the crash. Members of the Technical Rescue Task Force put together temporary shoring and stabilization supports throughout the house to fix compromised walls and structural components.

Photos show a white sedan lodged through the wall, tearing into the kitchen and leaving cabinets with the microwave attached knocked loose off the wall and the oven shoved out of place.

“These measures were put in place to prevent further shifting or collapse, protect the integrity of the structure, and ensure a safe environment for both responders and the occupants during the investigation and cleanup process,” the Roseville Fire Department said.
