Update: Police release more details on missing 16-year-old Davis girl

Update: Davis Police said late Saturday that the teen has been located.

A 16-year-old girl has been missing from Davis since Thursday evening, police say.

The teen was last seen around 5 p.m. and had spoken to friends around 6:30 p.m. but has not been heard from since, the Davis Police Department said in social media posts late Thursday night.

“Her family as well as the Davis Police Department are concerned for (her) safety,” the department said in an Everbridge message sent shortly after 10 a.m. Friday.

The teen’s last known location is believed to be in the area of Cowell Boulevard in South Davis, at around 3:30 a.m. Friday, the Police Department in a Friday morning update.
