Sacramento’s flat-track roller derby season opens Saturday with a double-header featuring the Capitol Punishers and Folsom Prison Bruisers of the Sac City Rollers league as they battle the Undead Bettys from Antioch. The event also features a children’s clothing drive to provide for families in need through the community nonprofit Shoes & Sandwiches. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the whistle at 6:45 p.m. At The Rink, 2900 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. Tickets are $6-$30 in advance, or $8-$15 at the door; free for children 6 and younger.
