Looking for a Father’s Day outing that won’t be too taxing on the wallet? Head over to the California Auto Museum where dads will receive free admission from 10-4 p.m. Sunday, June 18. Also part of the package will be a free ride in a classic car down to the river and back. Another reason to visit? The museum this week launched a new exhibit featuring classic Schwinn bikes, including those with cool car names such as “Corvette, Jaguar and Speedster.” But if bikes and banana seats aren’t your thing, you can always check out the dozens of amazing four-wheel vehicles on display. Our personal favorite? The 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, which will take any “Back to the Future” fan on a fast-track trip down memory lane. 2200 Front. St., Sacramento.
