‘See Jane Sing’ on a later date at the Mondavi
Citing conflicts with her filming schedule, Jane Lynch has rescheduled her upcoming April 9 performance of “See Jane Sing” at the Mondavi Center for Aug. 8, the center announced Thursday.
The postponement marked the second April concert date that has been taken off Mondavi’s spring calendar. Earlier this month, the center announced that the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra had canceled its April 17 Mondavi debut after the symphony pulled out of its entire United States tour.
Lynch, famous for her longtime role as Sue Sylvester on the TV show “Glee,” is filming a pilot for a new CBS comedy, “Angel from Hell.” (Lynch plays the title role.) “Glee” concluded its sixth and final season March 20.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner is known for both her comedy and vocal talents. In “See Jane Sing,” she has fun with show tunes and American standards while accompanied by The Tony Guerrero Quintet.
Original tickets will be honored for the Aug. 8 date with no further action necessary, according to the Mondavi box office. Otherwise, ticket-holders have two options: Exchange the tickets for another 2014-15 season event or receive a full refund.
To exchange tickets or request a refund, contact the box office at (530) 754-2787. The box office is open noon to 6 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays. Due to a campus holiday, the box office will be closed March 27.
In addition, seats are still available for the rescheduled “See Jane Sing” on Aug. 8 with tickets starting at $25. See www.mondaviarts.org for more details.
