Actor Laurence Fishburne’s mother says she’s facing eviction

Actor Laurence Fishburne’s estranged mother is facing eviction from her Los Angeles home after falling behind on her rent payments.

The 80-year-old, who supported her only child when he embarked on a screen career as a kid, claims she has been unable to reach “The Matrix” star to ask for help and hasn’t spoken to him since his father died over a year ago, accusing Laurence of abandoning her after finding fame in Hollywood:

“He promised me he would take care of me. To this day, I have not got a Christmas present or a ‘Thank you, Mama’ present.”
