Sugar skull masks, history offered for Dia de los Muertos
The Sacramento History Museum and Sol Collective are hosting workshops Oct. 21 in sugar skull and plaster masks in honor of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) before the Nov. 4 Souls of the City Festival at the Museum. The workshops are 11 a.m.-2 p.m at Sol Collective, 2574 21st St. $5-$10 donation suggested. Information: sol@solcollective.org
