Saturday is Veterans Day and the City of Sacramento will hold its annual parade that travels along Capitol Mall between Third and Ninth streets.

The event, which in the past has drawn thousands of spectators, features veterans as well as military organizations, high school marching bands, vintage military vehicles and community groups such as local Boy and Girl Scout troops.

The parade begins at 11 a.m., but you’ll want to arrive earlier to stake out a prime watching spot. Come salute the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces.
