It’s official: ‘Full House’ revival heading to Netflix

Full House is opening its doors again. Former star John Stamos’ announced on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live that Netflix has confirmed that it is reviving the family sitcom, handing out a 13-episode pickup to sequel Fuller House.

The new incarnation will star original castmembers Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J.), her on-screen younger sister, Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber, who played her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler.

Stamos will produce and reprise his role as Uncle Jesse in a guest role, while talks are under way to bring back fellow original stars Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin.
