The government may be going through a shutdown, but one politician is still putting in some “werk.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is serving as a guest judge on an episode of the VH1 reality TV show “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars.”

“All I can say is, you betta werk!” the California Democrat tweeted. “Had a fabulous time with @RuPaul and good luck to all the queens. #DragRace”

Pelosi is one of several guest judges for the show, which airs its season opener Thursday at 8 p.m. Among the numerous guests scheduled to appear are actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens, actress-singer Kristin Chenoweth and Emma Bunton, who is better known as Baby Spice of the Spice Girls.

With all the actors and singers slated to judge, why Pelosi?

Randy Barbato, the show’s executive producer, told CNN that Pelosi is a “fierce servant of our nation (and) Drag Race’s mission is to teach the children and honor those who fight on our behalf.”

Pelosi’s 12th Congressional District in California includes San Francisco, a city well known for being friendly to the LGBT community.

The episodes have already been recorded. It’s unknown when the one featuring Pelosi will air.
