Free festival in Sacramento’s Southside Park celebrates Latin culture

Why wait for May 5? Get a head start on your Cinco de Mayo celebration with the free Fiesta en la Calle (for those in need of translation: Street Party) noon-6 p.m. May 3. at Southside Park, Seventh and T streets, Sacramento. The third annual Fiesta features musical and dance acts, a car show, food, drink and children’s activities. Musicians include El Chicano, Latin Touch and Midnight Players.
