Hugh Jackman confirms ‘Wolverine 3’ will be last time as character

Hugh Jackman has officially confirmed that the third “Wolverine” movie will be his last time playing the role that he has owned in the X-Men film franchise.

“This will be my last one,” Jackman said, point blank, when asked about it on “The Dr. Oz Show.” This still leaves it unclear whether or not he’ll be making an appearance in “X-Men: Apoclaypse,” which opens before the next “Wolverine,” but he hasn’t been seen on set in Montreal so far.
