Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews and Stevie Nicks to headline BottleRock 2021
Napa Valley’s annual BottleRock festival announced Thursday that the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band and Stevie Nicks will headline the 2021 edition of the concerts at the Napa Valley Expo. All tickets from the 2020 shows, which were canceled by the coronavirus pandemic, will be good next year, according to a news release.
The 2020 show was delayed until October but was canceled when it became evident the coronavirus wasn’t going to be quelled in time.
“Although Napa County has one of the lowest COVID-19 case counts in the Bay Area, we are not ready for a large public gathering such as BottleRock Napa Valley in 2020,” Napa County Public Health Officer Karen Relucio said in the release. “Events like BottleRock fall under Governor Newsom’s Stage 4 plan for re-opening, which we will not achieve prior to October. These decisions are not taken lightly with the knowledge that many people will be impacted. Our first priority is the health of the community.”
The complete 2021 festival lineup will be announced at a future date.
