Sacramento Arts Festival returns for 24th show at refurbished convention center
The Sacramento Arts Festival returns this year for the 24th annual celebration November 5-7. Participation in the show is awarded through a juried system, and then the public is welcome to attend at the SAFE Union Convention Center. The festival will include over 15,000 works of art from over 225 craftspeople and fine artists. Artists will also be working on site for people to observe. Art will include woodwork, drawing, oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, sculpture, photography and two-and three-dimensional mixed media.
Some of the artists included will be: Juan Ramos, sculpting paper mache; Kristen Hoard, metal sculpture; and Eli Linares Navarro (best known as Junnior Navarro), mixed media. The festival will also incorporate live music and local restaurants will offer food on Restaurant Row. Art will be available for purchase in every price range.
