Celebrate the end of 2021 and ring in the New Year at a party or from your couch.

There are several in-person events scheduled for New Year’s Eve in Sacramento, including a party at Sac Yard and a cruise along the Sacramento River. There are also streaming programs scheduled for Friday on CNN, NBC and ABC.

And while you’re at it, check out the Sacramento events that have been canceled, including the New Year’s Eve Sky Spectacular on the Old Sacramento Waterfront and several shows at Harlow’s Restaurant and Nightclub.

In-person events

New Year’s Eve party at Sac Yard

1725 33rd St.

Bring in the New Year at Sac Yard Community Tap House surrounded by live music, food and champagne. The party kicks off at 4 p.m.

You must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Tickets: $35

Bring in 2022 with champagne at the Park Ultra Lounge

1116 15th St.

Dress to impress at the Park Ultra Lounge Friday and celebrate with music, champagne, party favors, decorations and a live stream of the New York Times Square ball drop.

The event is from 8:30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

Tickets: $50-$60

Take a cruise on the Sacramento River for New Year’s Eve

1206 Front St. between K and L streets ( the L Street Dock)

Count down to midnight on a New Year’s Eve River Cruise on the Sacramento River. Join City Cruises by Hornblower for an hour and a half of food, music, drinks and views of Sacramento.

Boarding begins at 7:30 p.m. and the boat will cruise from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
