Here’s where you can watch fireworks in the Sacramento area Fourth of July weekend
Check out how the Sacramento area is celebrating Independence Day with firework displays and more:
West Sacramento fireworks
West Sacramento’s Sutter Health Park is hosting the “Fourth on the Field” celebration, according to the park’s website. Fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m.
Tickets range from $12 to $650. This includes general admission, those 21 and older, and suite rentals for the event. Children under two years old enter free.
Parking is available for $15.
The West Sacramento fireworks are visible from Old Sacramento, rocketing over Tower Bridge.
Folsom rodeo
Folsom Pro Rodeo will be hosting events from July 1 - 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m, according to its website.
Each night will have a fireworks display, along with dedicated events including: high jumping motocross riders, The Painted Ladies Drill Team, and live music with a full bar.
General admission is $29, reserved admission is $39, and Corral seating tickets are $59.
Free shuttle rides are being offered with proof of admission.
Rancho Cordova carnival
Hagan Park in Rancho Cordova will host a Fourth of July Carnival and Firework show July 3 and July 4, according to the event’s website. Admission is $5 online.
Unlimited carnival ride passes are available for $30 until July 2, and $40 at the door. Rides are scheduled for 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. both days.
Firework shows will be held at 9:45 p.m.
Parking fees are $10, cash only.
Carmichael celebration
Carmichael’s “Red, White, and Blue Celebration” will take place July 2 at the La Sierra Community Center, according to the Carmichael Recreation and Park District’s website. The event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fireworks are estimated to start at 9:30 p.m.
Elk Grove salute
Elk Grove will host the “Salute to the Red, White, and Blue” event in celebration of Independence Day on July 4, according to the City of Elk Grove’s website. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can enjoy a bike parade, live music, and fireworks at 9:40 p.m.
Woodland celebration
Woodland is having a fireworks show at Woodland High school at 9:15 p.m., according to Spencer Bowen, the city’s communications manager and policy analyst. Starting at 6 p.m., visitors can enjoy food, music, bounce houses, and more.
Throughout the day, different areas of the city will host a pancake breakfast, bike parade, ice cream social, and swimming, according to the Woodland’s Independence Day Celebration webpage.
