Odesza will return soon to Northern California — but not quite Sacramento — after a stage collapse forced the last-minute cancellation of a September show at Cal Expo.

The Seattle-based electronic music duo had to abruptly call off a Sept. 29 performance at Cal Expo after an incident during “load in” caused “significant damage” to the stage.

“Fortunately, all staff and crew are safe, but sadly it is not safe for us to continue the build, which means we are not able to perform both (the Sept. 29) show in Sacramento and (Sept. 30) show in San Francisco and the shows will be postponed,” Odesza announced on their Twitter account at the time.

Odesza on Tuesday announced rescheduled dates, but with a change of venue for the Sacramento tour stop.

The duo will take the stage at Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, about a 45-minute drive north of Sacramento, on Nov. 3.

They will then head to Mountain View for a pair of shows at Shoreline Amphitheatre on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5, retaining the same venue for the scratched Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 dates that had been scheduled as the final stops in Odesza’s “The Last Goodbye” tour.

The Odesza website as of Wednesday morning showed tickets still available for the Wheatland show but sold out for the two Mountain View shows. Tickets to the Cal Expo show will be honored at Toyota Amphitheatre.

“All original tickets remain valid!” Odesza wrote in Tuesday’s Twitter announcement. “We understand and know not everyone will be able to make it back out. If you can’t make the new date, refunds are available at point of purchase.”
