Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle to co-headline West Coast tour with stop in Sacramento
Star comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock are co-headlining a brief West Coast tour that will bring the pair to Sacramento later this year, organizers announced Wednesday.
The seven-city tour will stop at Golden 1 Center on Dec. 12. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Golden1Center.com.
Cellphones and cameras won’t be allowed at the show, with the devices to be locked in magnetic Yondr pouches.
The December show will mark the first visit for each comic to the downtown venue, which opened in 2016.
It stands to be a very funny week in Sacramento, with performances by Adam Sandler on Dec. 7 and Kevin Hart on Dec. 11, both also at Golden 1 Center.
The five other California stops for Rock and Chappelle include San Diego State University on Dec. 1, Honda Center in Anaheim on Dec. 7, SAP Center in San Jose on Dec. 10, Chase Center in San Francisco on Dec. 11 and Acrisure Arena in Riverside County on Dec. 14.
Chappelle and Rock will visit Arizona on Dec. 5, at Footprint Center in Phoenix.
Rock is also performing in Northern California this coming weekend, 8 p.m. Saturday at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento in Wheatland, as part of his Ego Death World Tour.
