New Year’s Eve in Sacramento: 13 restaurants and bars hosting events

There are several events — dance parties, drinks, dinners and more — around Sacramento to help you welcome the 2023 New Year.

Here’s what will be happening around town on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31:

New Year’s Eve dinner in Sacramento

Ella Dining Room & Bar

When: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: 1131 K St., Sacramento

NYE Menu: If you’re looking for French cuisine on New Year’s Eve, Ella is your spot. For $175 per person, Ella offers a three-course meal that will kick off with oysters and champagne. Vegetarian options are also available upon request.

Adamo’s Restaurant

When: 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: 2107 P St, Sacramento

NYE Menu: If you’re in the mood for a cozy New Year’s eve at your house, but still want a restaurant-cooked meal, Adamo’s is for you. Its NYE menu is complete with antipasta, salads, side dishes, traditional Italian entrees, and mini cannoli. You’ll need to secure your order online or over the phone for pickup.

Dawsons

When: 5 p.m. to 9:30 pm

Where: 1209 L St., Sacramento

NYE Menu: Dawson’s steakhouse is offering a $125 pre-fixed menu for New Year’s Eve. For an additional $50, you can include a wine pairing.

Beast and Bounty

When: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: 1701 R St., Sacramento

Waterboy

When: 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Where: 2000 Capitol Ave., Sacramento

NYE Menu: Waterboy usually has a pre-fixed New Year’s Eve menu, but this year they are simply adding more specials. The restaurant cooks with seasonal ingredients and serves traditional American cuisine.

Allora

When: 5 p.m. to 8: 30 p.m.

Where: 5215 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento

NYE Menu: The New Year’s Eve menu at Allora is prcied at $265 per person. If you want to include a wine pairing with your seven-course meal, it will be an additional $105 per person. Allora is recognized for its seasonal Italian cuisine.

Camden Spit & Larder

When: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: 555 Capitol Mall, Sacramento

NYE Menu: For $145 per person, you can enjoy a British-inspired New Year’s Eve dinner. There will also be a $95 option for vegetarians. Cameden Spit and Larder will be serving crumpets to start the night and ending with a pistachio and orange cake. The option to include wine and cocktail pairings with your food is available at an additional cost.

7th Street Standard

When: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: 1122 7th St., Sacramento

NYE Menu: For $135 per person you can enjoy a five-course New Years eve dinner at the 7th Street Standard. If you are feeling like you want to keep the night going after dinner, there is also a $500 per person option which grants you access to the exclusive after party in Clayton club.

New Year’s Eve drinks in Sacramento

Fizz Champagne & Bubbles Bar

When: 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Where: 615 David J Stern Walk, Sacramento

Price: $250 per person

What you can expect: Prepare for a night of unlimited drinks and bites. Every hour, there will be champagne offerings and Fizz’s decadent duck fat fries to pair along with your champagne. Other snacks will be presented throughout the night by the chef. There will be a midnight toast to ring in 2023.

NYE Bash at the Barn 2023

When: 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Where: 985 Riverfront St, West Sacramento

Price: $15 to $70 per person

What you can expect: Prepare to dance the night away at Drakes with a craft beer in hand. Depending on the ticket you purchase, you’ll be admitted into the event at either 8 p.m., 9 p.m., or 10 p.m. There will be a live D.J. and silent disco will kick off at 10 p.m.

Punch Bowl Social

When: 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Where: 500 J St., Sacramento

Price: $10 to $50 per person

What you can expect: Punch Bowl social is hosting a party with a live D.J. and games to also keep you entertained. There will also be a photo booth on site for you to capture memories from the night.

SacYard Community Tap House

When: 7 p.m.

Where: 1725 33rd St, Sacramento

Price: $20 to $35

What you can expect: If you’re looking for live music, tamales and good vibes, head to SacYard. It is hosting a New Year’s event with live music from Noize and the Gold Souls. There will also be two toasts, one at 9 p.m. then another at midnight.

New Year’s Eve dance party in Sacramento

This 916

When: 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Where: Railyard Blvd, Sacramento

Price: Tickets start at $85

What you can expect: If you’re looking for a huge dance party, This 916 event will be the place you’ll want to ring in the new year. The event will be hosted at the Railyards and major D.J.’s like John Summit, Lee Foss and Deeper Purpose will be taking the stage.
