Hip hop and R&B star Kali Uchis is coming to Sacramento this summer, as a part of the second leg of her 2023 tour.

Uchis announced “The Red Moon In Venus Pt. II Tour” Tuesday on Instagram with stops in San Diego, Oakland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

She’ll be performing at Golden 1 Center on Sept. 24 and will bring along special guest Tokischa, a Dominican rapper and songwriter.

The arena tour comes after Uchis’ album release, “Red Moon In Venus,” in March. It houses hit tracks “Moonlight” and “I Wish you Roses,” and features artists Omar Apollo, Don Toliver and Summer Walker. The critically-acclaimed record is her first top-10 charting album, landing at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, according to the Golden 1 release.

Uchis has been on the come-up since 2015 with her debut album “Por Vida.” She’s since released five albums, partnered with industry icons, like Snoop Dogg and Kaytranada, and headlined shows at Coachella, Lollapalooza and The Governors Ball in New York.
