Concert photos | See Aftershock music festival return to Sacramento for 2023

The Aftershock music festival returned to Sacramento on Thursday night, bringing an estimated 40,000 daily fans to Discovery Park.

The four-day festival of headbanging, produced by L.A.-based festival promoter Danny Wimmer Presents, concludes on Sunday. The headliners on Thursday were Avenged Sevenfold, Incubus and The Cult.

Single-day admission tickets were still available Friday morning on the festival’s website for Saturday and Sunday.

Aftershock headliners

Thursday: Avenged Sevenfold, Incubus and The Cult.

Friday: Tool, Godsmack, Limp Bizkit.

Saturday: Korn, Turnstile, 311.

Sunday: Guns N’ Roses, Queens of the Stone Age, Rancid.
