Every single time ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ airs on TV for Christmas 2024
Arguably, the most popular holiday special each year is the story of an adorable misfit reindeer ostracized and bullied by his family and community — until he becomes the hero who saves Christmas.
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” which premiered on NBC in 1964, is the longest-running holiday special in history.
This year, it celebrates its 60th year on television with a move back to its original network after more than 50 years on CBS. (ABC, which debuted the Rankin-Bass companion piece “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” in 1970, will hold on to that show and air it Dec. 3.)
Here are all the times you can catch up with Rudolph, Hermey, Yukon Cornelius and Sam the Snowman.
