Aftershock 2025 lineup: These musical acts will headline four-day Sacramento rock festival

Deftones, Blink 182, Korn and Bring Me the Horizon are among the acts headlining Aftershock 2025, the four days at Sacramento’s Discovery Park Oct. 2-5 billed as the largest hard rock, punk and metal festival on the West Coast.

The acts top a high-powered lineup that includes Good Charlotte, Rob Zombie and prog-metal giants A Perfect Circle as well as dynamic French metal act Gojira, they of the crushing opening ceremony performance at last summer’s Paris Olympic Games.

All Time Low joins aught-rockers Blink 182 and Good Charlotte as the Thursday, Oct. 2, headliners. Friday, Oct. 3, features the one-two punch of Deftones and A Perfect Circle, along with Turnstile.

Multi-platinum Grammy winners Deftones, on the heels of last weekend’s sold-out show, return to the hometown Sacramento festival as part of their 2025 North American tour. Deftones also took the stage for the inaugural Aftershock back in 2012.

Saturday, Oct. 4, sees Bakersfield’s Korn return to the Aftershock stage, along with Bad Omens and Gojira. Bring Me the Horizon, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson close out the festival on Sunday, Oct. 5.

The Danny Wimmer Presents bill features more than 115 acts across Aftershock’s four stages, a mix of iconic acts and emerging stars over the festival’s four days.

“We’ve got legendary reunions, rare performances and more California bands on this lineup than any Aftershock before,” said concert promoter Danny Wimmer. “Year after year, we’ve broken attendance records, and this one is set to be the biggest yet.

“Trust me, you don’t want to miss it.”

The now-renowned festival, which launched in 2012 as a single-stage show at Discovery Park featuring Stone Temple Pilots and Deftones, has now grown into a West Coast behemoth and a mandatory stop on the rock and metal festival circuit. Last year, the festival hosted 160,000 fans to Discovery Park and brought an estimated $30 million to the local economy, officials said.

Aftershock’s big-name acts also mean big business for a Sacramento region now seen as a year-round festival destination. Visit Sacramento has pegged the economic impact of the West Coast’s largest hard rock and metal festival at north of $27 million, with tens of thousands of festival-goers staying in area hotels, dining in local restaurants and frequenting bars, brewpubs and nightspots during the four-day event.

“We can’t wait to welcome Aftershock back to Sacramento this fall,” said Mike Testa, Visit Sacramento’s president and CEO. “What began as a one-day event has become a totally immersive hard rock experience for some of the best fans in the world, and we’re excited that our city can be a part of it all.”
