Little Caesars invited me to Spider-Man's apartment. Here's what I saw
It was a "Brand New Day" in New York City as dozens of "Spider-Man" fans, some in Spider-Man suits, lined up outside a warehouse in Brooklyn for a one-day only pop-up by Little Caesars celebrating the upcoming film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."
Fresh off the release of their trending Webberoni Pizza, "a menu item inspired by the world's #1 favorite superhero," Little Caesars invited fans and members of the media to the pop-up "inspired by Spider-Man's hometown of Queens" and gave fans the chance to tour Peter Parker's apartment and get a taste of the new pizza. It features a "web" of shredded pepperoni and toasted cheeses on top.
Needless to say, my spidey senses were tingling with excitement.
The apartment was sprinkled with Easter Eggs from the upcoming film, featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man and Zendaya Michelle Jones-Watson (MJ), Peter Park's love interest. A Little Ceasars rep at the Saturday, June 27 event said that while none of the items at the pop-up were props from the film set, they were exact replicas of the ones used in the movie, adding that the designers for the pop-up worked closely with the film's set designers to bring Peter Parker's apartment to life.
Here are all the Easter eggs I saw.

Missing cat poster
Before even entering the apartment, visitors were greeted by posters for a missing cat Buster plastered to the wall. The posters had a phone number listed with attendees encouraged to call the number for a surprise.
Notes, receipts on the fridge
I spotted a bouquet of flowers on the kitchen counter with a reminder on the fridge to "bring flowers to Aunt May." Are the flowers for MJ or Aunt May?
I also saw a receipt for a Little Caesars pizza order on the fridge, and a Little Caesars rep said Peter Parker indulges in pizza from the chain in the film.
Letter to MJ
A letter to MJ from Peter Parker on the metal shelves also caught my attention. In the note, Spider-Man explains why he had to make her forget him and tells her that he still loves her and hopes "deep down, something inside you remembers you love me too."
Call from Dr. Banner's assistant
Mark Ruffalo returns as Dr. Bruce Banner / Hulk who has "found a way to suppress mutating DNA." Peter seeks him out for help, which explains why his assistant might be calling Spider-Man.
Who is the new villian?
A "powerful villain no one can even see," is posing a "shocking threat to the city and those he loves," according to the film's synopsis, and Peter Parker is trying to get to the bottom of who it may be.
The apartment also included Parker's workstation, bed in a sleeping nook as well as flyers and posters from various businesses.
Limited-edition collectible 'Spider-Man' posters
To celebrate the Webberoni Pizza and the new film, Little Ceasars will also be giving out free posters with the purchases of the themed pizza starting July 6. The chain said there will be three limited-edition poster designs "that refresh weekly" leading up to the release of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" on July 31. Additionally, Little Caesars' pizzas will be served in newly designed Spider-Man inspired pizza boxes.
