Report: Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White commits suicide

Jim Carrey’s 28-year-old ex-girlfriend has committed suicide, according to TMZ’s website.

According to TMZ, police found the body of Cathriona White Monday night in her Los Angeles home. White tweeted this on the Sept. 24: “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”

TMZ reported she left a suicide note to Carrey and references their breakup earlier this month. The website also reports claims from law enforcement that she died from an overdose of drugs and pills were found next to her body. Carrey and White met in 2012.
