Broadway Sacramento is dreaming of ‘White Christmas’
“Irving Berlin’s White Christmas” started as a vehicle for Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. Danny Kaye eventually got the role Astaire didn’t want, and the film was a 1954 hit. This national touring stage version adds a few more Berlin classics to the inside-show-biz story. $25-$100. 8 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, Dec. 27-30; 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, Saturday, Dec. 31 and Sunday Jan. 1; Community Center Theater, 1301 L St., Sacramento, 916-808-5181; californiamusicaltheatre.com
