Watch artists work in real time when they take over the alley between I and J streets on Aug. 10-20 for Wide Open Walls. More than 50 local and international artists are to create murals up to several stories high on the sides of buildings and other public spaces. Gallery showings, artist panels and biking tours also are planned. The event is an outgrowth of last year’s inaugural Sacramento Mural Festival. For a map of mural sites, go to wow916.com/map.html
