R&B music festival Sol Blume was back Saturday and Sunday after a three-year hiatus at a larger venue with more artists.
More than 40,000 people were expected to attend the event in Discovery Park. The headliners included Jorga Smith, Jazmine Sullivan, Jhene Aiko and Summer Walker.
The event also featured Sacramento region artists Yelly and Victoria Mone’t.
“I saw the list of people and I was like — there have never been so many artists that I like,” said festival attendee Lauren Wright, an Oakland resident from Sacramento, of the lineup.
