Sac State gallery explores influence of hip-hop on art

Explore hip-hop’s influence on music, poetry, dance and art in the “Pump Up the Volume!” exhibit at Sacramento State’s Robert Else Gallery. In more than 60 pieces, artists Jane Dickson and Joe Lewis explore the reach of the musical form, which has been described as the voice of the underserved and unrepresented.
