Calidanza celebrates Cinco de Mayo at Sacramento’s Crest Theatre

Calidanza Dance Company will perform “Viva,” a program of Mexican culture, dance and music, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the Crest Theatre (1013 K St., Sacramento). The event celebrates Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day by relating the sacrifices of women during the Mexican revolution. Accompanying the dance company will be Orgullo Regional, a Sacramento-based Regional Mexicano trio.
