Sacramento’s Holy Diver is stepping up this week to help us co-host the Band Together concert series.

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
We’ll have Dalton James, a Sacramento singer and songwriter who got his start on the local open mic scene last year. He wrote about 25 songs in that first year.
“I write a lot of songs about deep personal things that mean a lot to me: love, failure, growing up, searching, relationships, etc.,” James tells us. “And I try to be creative with each song, melodically and the way in which I write them.”
He says he’s influenced by Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Carole King and others. His music can be found here on YouTube. Give him a follow on Instagram @daltonjamesmusic.
Also on the list is Saint Juniper. They describe themselves on their Facebook page as a “4 piece band. like a small pizza sliced into four pieces but just imagine the pizza as a post-hardcore/indie-math/emo-revival band.” More specifically, they told us they’re three siblings and a few friends.
Their music can be found on their bandcamp site here. Check them out on Instagram here.
Finally, we have Flight Mongoose. We asked them to tell us a little bit about themselves, and here’s what they had to say:
“They’re the band from the garage next door that you’ve probably called the cops on. They’re the band that’s keeping your kids up late at night. They’re the band that has rappers listening to rock n roll. They are Flight Mongoose, indie rock band from Sacramento.”
Here’s a YouTube video of them performing at Holy Diver a couple years ago. Yup, I bet the cops have been called on them more than once.
Join us at 6 p.m. Friday right here on sacbee.com for the live concert. You can also watch on our Facebook and YouTube pages.
