A little man capable of generating big laughs is coming to Golden 1 Center this fall.
Kevin Hart’s “Irresponsible” tour will touch down in Sacramento on Friday, Nov. 16, according to a news release from Live Nation. The 119-city tour stretches from Hawaii to New Zealand and includes stops in nine California cities.
A previous release had unveiled 18 shows, none west of Iowa. Monday’s announcement added 101 new appearances to Hart’s schedule.
Hart last performed in Sacramento in a sold-out 2015 show as part of his “What Now?” comedy tour. The 5-foot-2 comic’s jokes often poke fun at his masculine shortcomings and eccentric family members, and frequently contain language that may offend some audience members.
Hart stars as the wisecracking funnyman in movies such as “Get Hard,” “Ride Along” and “Central Intelligence.” His most recent role alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jack Black in “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” helped Sony rake in $822 million through Sunday, the studio’s fifth-highest-grossing film of all-time.
The comedian’s memoir “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons” debuted atop The New York Times’ bestseller list last year and remained on the list for 10 straight weeks.
Tickets listed at $35 to $150 plus fees go on sale at 9 a.m. PST on Jan. 31.
