Treat the women in your life to a beautiful, wine-filled getaway the weekend of May 9-10.
It starts on May 9 with the third annual First Blush tasting event, which celebrates lighter wines such as rosé, pinot noir, sauvignon blanc, riesling and sparking wines. Chefs will dish out delicious pairings on a vineyard terrace. Local breweries also will be present. First Blush runs from 1 to 4 p.m. for $49 per person.

On May 10, enjoy a traditional Mother’s Day brunch with champagne, a prix fixe menu and omelet bar. Flowers for Mom
What: Instead of just buying a bouquet, treat Mom to a stroll through acres of flowers at Amador Flower Farm. Admire what’s in bloom, bring a picnic and hop on the free tram.
