Tenba Shootout Action Pack
$129.95; www.tenba.com
GoPro users tend to be finicky about their precious outdoor adventurer cameras, even when they are not mounted on their heads or bike handle bars. A newly released backpack made specially for GoPro users who need to access the camera immediately – like, when the grizzly bear just emerges from the copse of trees – will like this pack, because it opens from side pockets, meaning you don’t have to bother taking off the pack. Also, it uses Velcro rather than zippers to bolster compartments.

The RunningBuddy Pouch
$23.88; www.therunningbuddy.com
Runners have long wrestled with the question of how to deal with their car keys and cellphones while ambulatory. All sorts quasi-fanny packs and arm braces have hit the market, but many runners don’t like feeling tethered by wearing a belt or something approaching a blood-pressure cuff on their biceps. The RunningBuddy pouch simply clips onto your shorts, using “revolutionary magnetic technology,” according to the website. It claims not to bounce as you move. It’s worth checking out.
