Escapes: Pop-up marketplace Stockmarket back for another holiday season
For holiday shoppers tired of the mall, there’s Stockmarket, a giant one-day pop-up marketplace that will fill downtown Stockton on Saturday, Dec. 5, with locally made crafts.
Launched last year to boost community awareness of Stockton’s artists and entrepreneurs, the market will bring in vendors selling handcrafted home goods, body products and jewelry. Some of the artists will also be on hand to answer questions and talk about their work.
Admission is free at the market, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at East Weber Avenue and North Stanislaus Street.
Food trucks and local caterers will offer snacks and sips.
