Tulips are the featured flower at Boatique Winery, which hosts its first Tulip Time Festival on April 2. There will be live music, food and, of course, tulips.

Boatique Winery, a boat-themed wine purveyor in Lake County, will host its first Tulip Time Festival. The winery, which opened last year, is tucked within 47 acres of rolling vineyards covered with oak and alpine forest. The tulip-inspired event will feature live music, barbecue and opportunities to view and pick from the winery’s tulip garden.

Festivities kick off at noon Saturday, April 2, and will last about two hours. Wine will be available for purchase throughout the festival.

The event costs $45 for the general public and includes a vase and tulips to take home.

The winery, 8255 Red Hill Road, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
