Love Taylor Swift? What about Journey and Queen?
Three tribute bands will perform at the California State Fair as part of a “high-energy lineup” in 2025, fair organizers announced Monday in a news release.
The 17-day event will also feature food, carnival rides and agriculture competitions.
Billed as “the ultimate Taylor Swift tribute experience,” Blank Space takes the fair’s main stage on Monday, July 14.
The group focuses on “bringing to life the energy, emotion, and spectacle of one of the world’s biggest pop stars” with live musicians, backup dancers, stunning visuals and choreography, the release said.
Queen tribute band Queen Nation, which performs on the fair’s main stage on Saturday, July 19, combines vintage fashion and “note-perfect renditions” of classic songs including “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Will Rock You” to deliver “an unforgettable concert experience,” according to the release.
Performing on the main stage on Monday, July 21, is Journey Revisited.
“Known for their faithful, high-energy performances, the band delivers all the hits: no B-sides, no fillers, performed live with no backing tracks,” the fair release said, transporting fans to the “golden era of rock” with covers of “Any Way You Like It,” “Don’t Stop Believin’ ” and other hits.
