Why Bachelor's Lauren Burnham Is Supporting Alix Earle in Alex Cooper Feud
Lauren Burnham can easily choose sides in Alix Earleand Alex Cooper's viral drama.
"Team @alixearle all the way," Burnham, 34, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, April 30, after being asked for her thoughts on the feud in a Q&A with followers. "It's about time Alex Cooper gets called out."
She added, "And yes, it's personal."
Tensions initially arose between Earle, 25, and Cooper, 31, after Cooper's Unwell podcast dropped Earle's "Hot Mess" podcast from its umbrella.
"Don't really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can't get into the details of it all right now, but I've loved it so much," Earle said in a TikTok video shared in February 2025. "I'm really proud of what I built with the podcast."
Cooper later addressed the situation, claiming via social media that Earle's podcasting change had "nothing to do" with Unwell.
While the drama appeared to die down, Earle was caught reposting several shady social media videos last month, reigniting the feud.
"The passive aggressive reposts and the ‘likes' and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here," Cooper responded in an Instagram video at the time. "Just say what you gotta say about me. There's no NDA, and no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What's the beef?"
Earle has since hinted there's more to the story, telling fans via TikTok on April 19 that "you'll see" the truth soon enough.
As for Burnham, she and husband Arie Luyendyk Jr. have been at odds with Cooper since 2019. During several podcast episodes, Cooper and then-cohost Sofia Franklyn mocked the couple's maternity photo captions in a weekly segment.
"They decided it would be funny to make fun of Baby Luyendyk or Baby Alessi on the podcast," Burnham recalled on the "Unplanned" podcast in 2023. "I was really pissed because they would talk about her and then they would say stuff about, like, her being on a stripper pole or the next sentence would be about BJs. It was so classless."
She continued, "The people that are listening to it [are] not parents probably and, like, if they were, they would be really disturbed by a baby being mentioned next to another sentiment like that."
Burnham even considered taking legal action.
"[Arie] was, like, ‘Don't do anything about it.' I was about to hire a lawyer," she alleged. "Honestly, they should be in big trouble for doing that. It's not OK. I never said anything because he's like, ‘If you do something about it publicly, it's gonna make it [a big deal]. That's what they want honestly. Do they want to have a public feud with me or something? So I was like, ‘All right I won't pay any attention to it.'"
Burnham and Luyendyk, 44, share daughter Alessi, 6, twins Senna and Lux, both 4, and daughter Livvy, who was born in September 2025.
Cooper, for her part, never publicly addressed the Bachelor couple's concerns.
