Take Your Best Shot: Platter almost – but not quite – too pretty to eat
The photographer: Joe Phelan of Lincoln
The dish: This spectacular platter of cheeses, meats, fruits and olives was almost too pretty to disturb by eating. It was a dinner gift created by Dorothy, our houseguest from Scotts Valley visiting us in Lincoln Hills Sun City for a recent night of dinner and playing bridge with two other couples. Needless to say, the group quickly overcame our hesitancy about eating it.
