Del Taco giving away year’s supply of free tacos to first 100 customers at new Rocklin store

Del Taco is offering a one-year supply of free tacos to the first 100 guests who visit the chain’s new location in Rocklin at its grand opening next week.

Starting at 10 a.m. Dec. 11, the first 100 into the dining room will be enrolled into the “Free Taco Society,” Del Taco announced Wednesday in a news release.

Those lucky early birds will be able to redeem two free orders of the $1.59 “Del Tacos” menu item each week for a year.

But there’s a catch. Those free tacos can only be redeemed at the store that offered the giveaway, in this case the new Rocklin location, according to the official rules for the giveaway found on the Del Taco website. So don’t try to cash in your freebies at the restaurant on Alhambra Boulevard in Sacramento or any other location – it’s just not going to work.

Winners in the giveaway will have access to their prizes using Del Taco’s smartphone application, The Del App, which will reload taco credits each week.

The new restaurant, 4610 Sierra College Blvd. in Rocklin, will open next Wednesday. Its normal hours are 7 a.m. to midnight.
