Two of Food Source’s three Sacramento stores will be closing it’s doors in March 2020 according to multiple sources.

The stores, located at 6366 Mack Road and 4401 Broadway, will close on March 14 and March 28, respectively, according to ABC 10. The other location at 3457 Bradshaw Road is not expected to be impacted.

“Our current lease is expiring (at both locations), and we have elected not to renew. We don’t take the decision to close stores lightly,” Raley’s spokeswoman Chelsea Minor said in an email to the Sacramento Business Journal. She noted that “foot traffic and sales have declined” at both of the locations.

Raley’s currently has 127 stores open across California and Nevada and houses Bel-Air, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source. With the Sacramento closings there will be five Food Source stores left in operation.

Raley’s did not respond to emails sent by The Bee for comment.
