Sacramento Beer Week is returning for 2022. See all of the events that are brewing

It’s time to appreciate local craft brews, beer tasting, food and live music — if you aren’t already doing so — with the return of Sacramento Beer Week.

This year’s festivities will be in-person with events across Sacramento, Yolo, Placer and El Dorado counties from April 22 to May 1.

The 13th annual event is presented by the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild, a nonprofit organization that supports independent breweries in the region.

According to a news release, the guild anticipates more than 100 events will be hosted by participating local breweries, restaurants, taprooms and other craft beer businesses.

Here’s a rundown of what to know about this year’s Sacramento Beer Week:

What are the events?

The Sac Mac + Beer Fest is back for Sacramento Beer Week. The event is 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 23 at River Walk Park, 651 Second St., West Sacramento.

With more than 30 local breweries at this event, you can enjoy a tasting of beers made exclusively for Beer Week. Local chefs also will be there, competing for your vote on the best beer and mac and cheese pairing.

Other events, so far, include:

▪ April 26: Comedy Night, 1210 66th St., Suite B

▪ April 28: Sushi & Beer Pairing, 2904 Franklin Blvd.

▪ April 30: Sac Co-Op Spring Fling Rooftop Party, 2820 R St.

▪ April 30: North Park Beer Company Takeover, 2904 Franklin Blvd.

▪ May 1: Reggae Chill Out, 1221 64th St.

Tickets

Depending on the event, tickets may be required.

For the Sac Mac + Beer Fest, tickets range from $25 to $60 and can be purchased online.
