Arden Arcade restaurant and bar abruptly closes after more than a decade of business

After more than 15 years of business, Roxy Restaurant and Bar in Arden Arcade closed its doors.

The restaurant took to Facebook on Monday to announce that Sunday was its last day, noting the restaurant couldn’t renew their lease.

“Our landlords are not renewing our lease and another chapter of Sacramento history has ended,” Roxy Restaurant Bar said in a statement and farewell post to customers. “We thank you for all the support and love for our little restaurant. Until we meet again.”

Roxy Restaurant and Bar on 2381 Fair Oaks Blvd. offered a Farm-to-Fork experience with floor to ceiling windows, a dog-friendly patio and a bar stocked with wines by the glass or bottle, elegant cocktails and beer from rotating drafts, according to its website.

Starting Tuesday, for the next two weeks the restaurant will be selling all of their restaurant items including chairs, plates, cups, equipment, wine, beer and more from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, according to its Facebook.
