Tell us what’s on your BLT

Sacramento’s tomatoes are coming in, which means it’s time for bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches.

Every BLT lover has a favorite way of constructing the sandwich, and we want to know yours. Send an email to taste@sacbee.com and list the following information:

• The type of bread or roll. White or wheat? Toasted? Triple stacked?
• The kind of bacon. How crispy? How many slices?
• Variety of tomato. How many slices?
• Type of lettuce. Romaine leaves or spring mix or something else? How much?
• Brand of mayo. Or do you use other condiments?
• Anything else. Whatever you add to make it a perfect BLT.
• The order. How are these put together?

For all items, be specific, including the brand names. Entries should be no more than 200 words. A photo is not required.

Submissions should include your name, phone number and city. Please include Favorite BLT in the subject line.

Deadline for submissions is noon July 22. We’ll run our favorite answers in a future Food & Drink section.
