Domino’s Pizza adds new dish to Sacramento menus ahead of Super Bowl Sunday

Domino’s Pizza dropped a new carbs-loaded menu item just in time for Super Bowl Sunday.

Loaded tater tots are available at Domino’s locations across the U.S., including Sacramento, the Michigan-based pizza chain wrote in a statement Monday. The newest greasy food item comes in three varieties:

  • Cheesesteak with peppers, onions and Alfredo sauce
  • Cheddar bacon with garlic Parmesan sauce
  • “Melty 3-cheese” with Alfredo sauce.

“We’re excited to bring potatoes to our Sacramento Domino’s menu for the first time, said Malli Patibandla Rao, owner of the Sacramento Domino’s franchise. “Loaded Tots make the perfect addition to any party spread.”

Here’s the deal: An order of loaded tater tots cost $6.99 each, Domino’s wrote in a Monday statement, when you “mix and match” or choose two or more items like pizza and pasta. When you order online, a single order of tots also costs $6.99, so be sure to check before you buy.

Prices vary with the mix and match offer.

Wings, pastas and handmade pan pizzas cost extra, according to Domino’s website. Plus, depending on the location, certain crust types, toppings and sauces come with up charges.
