New brunch concept opens in midtown Sacramento at former gourmet hot dog spot

Sacramento’s midtown has a new brunch spot on K Street.

Kitchen 15, a casual fast-service breakfast and lunch spot, opened last week at 1630 K St. It replaces Umai Hot Dog, a gourmet hot dog franchise.

“We tantalize your taste buds with the highest quality ingredients, everything made fresh daily,” the restaurant website states.

Menu items at Kitchen15 include breakfast tacos made with chorizo and house crema, omelettes and waffles with captain crunch fried chicken bits. Prices range from $12 to $19.

It also serves mimosas with prosecco and new flavors each week.

It is closed Monday and Tuesday, and opens 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The restaurant was not immediately available for comment.
