Popular ice cream chain Handel’s to open another shop in Sacramento area. Here’s where

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream will open a new shop in Natomas — its fourth location in the Sacramento area.

The popular ice cream franchise has spots across the country, including Texas, Nevada and Oregon. In Sacramento, there’s one in Elk Grove, Folsom and Roseville.

The new shop will be at 2820 Del Paso Rd.

Handel’s was established in 1945 in Youngstown, Ohio, and is known for ice cream made fresh daily. Each location offers more than 45 flavors, including bananas foster, coffee chocolate chip, pistachio and salty caramel truffle.

The store was not immediately available for comment. There’s no word yet on when it will open, but it plans to open soon, according to an Instagram post.
